Edward Whittaker. John King, scrivener, whose livelihood is making letters of attorney for seamen, tells him that the Board has ordered that no such letters made by him will be looked on as good. It is true he made a false letter of attorney for an Anne Low, but he was not prosecuted, and as he could be useful, recommends him. |
