Captain Michael Everitt, the Bellona, Portsmouth. Is sending pay tickets for John McWilliams, seaman, discharged unserviceable. William Jordan, seaman belonging to the Hornet Sloop, is on board by Admiralty order being detained as evidence against Rigby of the Tweed on suspicion of murder many years ago. I am directed to bear Jordan for wages and to discharge him by pay list from the time the Hornet was paid off |
