Acknowledges receipt of letter respecting the importation of foreign sugars and rum into British West Indian islands; particular attention will be paid to hinder illicit importation into Grenada of those Articles; reports two seizures recently made, one of a small schooner and twelve bales of cotton, the other of 92 hogsheads of sugar found on board the ship Golden Lyon.
