Note: | Dated by Rees, Petitions Relating to Wales, pp. 165-6, as 1316, but this is the date of Derneford's first appointment to keep the works at Beaumaris (CPR 1313-17, p. 457) and since the petition states that wages of some years are in arrears, it is clear that the petition must date from some time after this; Derneford continued in the office for the rest of Edward II's reign, and it is assumed here that the petition was made before Edward III's accession. | ||||||||||||||||
