Six sheets of drawings of defences at Fort Henry, Kingston. (8) No 1: 'Plan of a Martello Tower for 1 Gun proposed to be erected in advance of Fort Henry Kingston U. Canada'. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet. Signed by J Whitmore, Capt RE, 4 December 1840. (9) No 2: 'Plans of a Martello Tower for 1 Gun Proposed to be erected in advance of Fort Henry Kingston U.C.': basement, middle floor and platform. With three overlays, showing each floor as proposed. Scale: 1 inch to 10 feet. Copy signed by Hampden Moody, Lt RE, 7 January 1841. (10) No 3: 'Section of a proposed Martello Tower'. Scale: 1 inch to 10 feet. (11) No 4: 'Sketch of the Ground near Hamilton Cove in advance of Fort Henry, Kingston, where it is proposed to erect a Martello Tower': plan showing contours, lines of sections.
