Cumberland to Newcastle: Lieutenant Colonel Durand is about to set out for Vienna. Movements of the [30,000] Russian troops. The greffier has given him assurances on the prohibition of commerce with France. Cumberland hopes the 4,000 Austrian cavalry have begun their march. He and the greffier have been unable to obtain a specification of the Dutch contingent from the prince of Orange. Compaints of the Dutch merchants [about the High Court of Admiralty]. The duke of Wolfenbüttel commands at Breda, Ligonier has set out for Eindhoven and Bathiani is about to leave for Maastricht. Dated at The Hague. ff. 140-143
