Ligonier [to Harrington]: he has sent passes for M Seigneur and appointed Captain Robinson and Mr Carpentier to negotiate with him. The French have taken the town of Namur and detached 10,000 men from the siege to Saxe. The two armies are within cannon shot of each other, and there is continual skirmishing.
