Description:

Folios 114-115. ----- from Whitehall to Duchess of Kendall. It is found to be impossible to procure the apartments she desires in St.James's as the King, in order to procure more room for the royal family, has purchased Lord Chetwynds' house and intends to pull it down with other houses in order to enlarge the palace. It is hoped that there will be no difficulty in continuing her pension. The Queen is well disposed, but it is not the time to represent this matter to the King. Fench Draft
