The notations, although brief, indicate the official decisions given on the individual problems which arose from the application of certain Education acts and codes i.e. the Education Act, 1870 - as amended; the Voluntary Schools Act, 1897; the Education Act, 1902; the Education (London) Act, 1903; the Education (Administrative Provisions) Act, 1907 and 1911; the Education Act, 1921; the Education Codes 1900 to 1919 and 1926.

Some of the volumes relate to miscellaneous matters.
