Folio 48v. [Fieldmarshal Hans Adam von] Schöning to Frederick Augustus, elector of Saxony. Accuses serjeant-general ['General Feldwachtmeister'] Otto Henry baron von Friesen, of arrogating to himself, and seizing, the command of the elector's life-guards in his, Schöning's, absence; submits that Friesen had neither authority, capability, nor rank to do so, being Schöning's subaltern, and proposes that Friesen should be severely punished.
