Description:

Folio 51. To Lady Anne Bellomont [? at Vienna]. Mainly about common acquaintances, their activities and peculiarities, but also containing a reference to the f1.300 given to him, Stepney, by prince [Philip] of Hessen for the conveyance of the brothers O'Rourke upon release from their captivity (see List SP 105/59, ff. 155 r/v). Advises her to obtain letters [of introduction] to the electoress of Saxony from the electoresses of Hanover or of Brandenburg before setting out for Dresden.

Note: [hand of Plantamour]. Possibly Lady Anne Bellomont, a younger sister of Charles Rupert Bard, second viscount Bellomont and baron Bard of Dromboy, and of Frances Bard, lady Bellomont mistress of prince Rupert (d.1708).
