Short title: Bathoe v Peirson.

Plaintiffs: Robert Bathoe gent, of Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, Paul Henrey the younger, of Amblecote, Staffordshire.

Defendants: Robert Peirson blacksmith, of Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, William Stich, of Wolverhampton, Staffordshire and Matthew Floyer esq high sheriff of Staffordshire.

Subject: An injunction relating to a bad debt for some oxen which the plaintiff had acquired through his dealing in cattle. He expected his partner Peirson to bear his share of the debt and entered into a bond for the sum, but later discovered, as he was il, literate, that the bond included a penalty for interest which was not appropriate: mentions Thomas Pardoe goldsmith, of Lombard Street, London: property in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
