The Cobb Photographs
|Title:||The Cobb Photographs|
This series contains a collection of slides which were nearly all taken at the collieries of the former Barber Walker and Co. (mostly at Moorgreen and Brinsley) around Eastwood, Nottinghamshire between 1907 and 1914.
The slides in this series were taken by the Rev. F W Cobb, Rector of Eastwood, Nottinghamshire from 1907 to 1917.
The collection is entitled From Pit to Fireplace and would appear to have been used to illustrate a talk on the history of coal mining.
