Indenture by which Elizabeth Bigley of Cobham (Coveham), Surrey, widow, Robert Gavell, gentleman, and Dorothy, his wife, Edward Carleton, gentleman, and Mary, his wife, leased to James Godhelpe the elder of Cobham, Surrey, yeoman, according to an award made by Edmund Slyffelde, John Byrche, esquires, and Edward Carleton, gentleman, dated 8 February 1526, a messuage in Cobham Street called the Swan and twelve acres of arable land and meadow belonging to the messuage in Cobham, Surrey, for the term of 21 years, for annual rent of 26s 8d in two equal payments.

Witnesses: Edmund Sutton, Thomas Wood and Henry Godselp (signatures dated 8 March 1562).
