Indented agreement between John Blackedon [Blagdon] the elder, of Blagdon (Blackedon) in the parish of Clawton, Devon, and Anthony Monke, esquire, William Herrys, esquire, Roger Langysford and John Pote, gentlemen, stating that before Christmas next, Blackedon will grant to them all his property in West Blagdon (Westblackedon) in the parish of Clawton, Blagaton (Easteblakedon) in the parish of Ashwater, Lower Grinacombe in the parish of Broadwoodwidger (Brodewodewyger), and all his property elsewhere in Devon, to the use of John Blackedon, his sons John, Richard, Anthony and David, and their heirs. Witnesses: Arthur Arscott, John Norris and John Lyde. Seal and mark of John Blackedon. |
