Description:

1 item extracted from CO 879/110/2. Map showing administrative boundaries of Northern and Southern Nigeria, with communications and tribal names. Signed by Charles Alfred Vaux, consultant engineer to the South Nigeria Exploration Syndicate. Compiled in the War Office, 1910. Printed at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton, 1912. The area of the map extends beyond its borders as far as the Togoland boundary and shows alternative trade outlets from Northern Nigeria and the Territoire Militaire to the coast.
