Appellant: George Michael Papayani, Basilio Papayani, William Porter, Francis W Reynolds, William Blain and S H Laugenbach, all of Liverpool, M E Mavrogordato and Theodore J Coronio, both of London, S N Frangapulo, P Theologo Charalampo Constantinidi, Jacob Longson, Michael Trueman, John Edward Wilson and George Triandifillid, all of Manchester, owners of the screw steamship Amalia. Respondent: Jean Francois Cail, A Halot and Company and others, owners of part of the cargo aboard the Marie de Brabant. Subject: Collision between said vessels on 15 May 1863. Lower Court: High Court of Admiralty of England.
