Respondent: Francis Peter Carrel and Robert Crannes of Cardiff, owners of the schooner Smuggler, and Edward Santos of Corunna, Spain, owner of her cargo, and also James Henry Young, master of said schooner. Subject: Collision between said vessels on 7 Mar 1857. Lower Court: High Court of Admiralty of England.
