Description:

These records relate mainly to murder and more serious cases although after 1949 they cover a wider range of offences. The series includes depositions arising from the trial in 1934 of Sir Oswald Mosley, William Joyce and two other members of the British Union of Fascists for riotous assembly at Worthing. Prior to 1876 the records are those of the Home and Norfolk Circuits.
