Description:

Folio 5: Captain John George, the Rose, Boston, New England. He has hauled the ship off into the roads and is fitting for England, however he is concerned the other four ships will not be ready. Captain Southack, who has a commission from the Admiralty, is fitting out a small ship with guns, and plans to attack Port Royal, Nova Scotia. He is concerned the Indians will be troublesome this spring, they recently appeared near a garrison in Casco Bay and could not be prevented from driving thirty head of cattle through.
