Registered files and branch folders created and used by branches within the Navy departments of the unified Ministry of Defence. There may be some overlaps from the years preceding unification (1964), where functions were carried forward beyond that unification. This series includes some files from the Naval Personnel (Pay) Division relating to allowances, pay and pensions, which would otherwise be found in DEFE 49. Some branches have dedicated series - see below. |
