The Chief Passenger Manager was within the Traffic Department until 1969 when the post became Executive Director, Passenger until September 1970 and then Chief Passenger Marketing Manager until 1979. The functions were then scattered to other departments, the Passenger Manager (Marketing) retaining responsibility for sales, terminal services and some computer systems.
