Guy Francis De Moncy BURGESS, aliases Roger STYLES, Jim Andreyevich ELIOT: British. BURGESS disappeared from London in May 1951 with Donald MACLEAN and later reappeared in Moscow. He was assessed as having been a Soviet agent since the 1930s. This file contains papers dealing with BURGESS' background, including interviews with a number of his acquaintances, and correspondence to and from him after his defection to Moscow
