Folios 74-75. Report of a visit made by the Commissioners in Lunacy to the Wolstanton and Burslem Poor Law Union Workhouse on 9 November 1867 by Robert Nairne. The form includes details of diet, accommodation and treatment, and of one particular case John Ray, (no medical case description), in relation to the ventilation in his ward. Nairne also recommends that this class of inmate receive more meat in their diet.

Annotated: to send a copy of the report to the guardians and to request that they carefully consider the recommendations respecting ventilation and diet.
