The Earl of Douglas to Montrose. Desiring the king to grant him a pass to leave his wife's estates in Lorraine and travel from France (via London) to Scotland. For the purpose of establishing trade as French merchants desire such Scots commodities as: coal, lead, linen, salt fish and black cattle.
