Name: Emerson Lloyd Logan, Squadron Leader, C1359, 405 Squadron, Bomber Command. Landed: Hirson (Aisne), 12 March 1943. Arrived in UK: 20 April 1943. Other names mentioned: Flight Sergeant Jennings. He believes the following crew members baled out and were evading capture: Pilot Officer Dennison, Flight Sergeant Spencer. The fate was unknown of: Flight Sergeant Bulman, Sergeant Lacina, Flight Sergeant Kennett, Sergeant MacDonald. Another member of the crew was reported killed and buried at Mondrepuis near Hirson and that another was taken Prisoner of War. Mr Cresswell, British consul in Madrid. |
