Service: Army, Scots Guards.

Attempted escapes: working party attached to Stalag VIIIB (Lamsdorf) Jun 1944, and on three occasions in Feb 1945. Escaped from railway station at Liban, joined a party of Czech partisans and eventually contacted Allied Forces, 20 Feb - May 1945.
