Description:

Thomas Tiddeman, Master Attendant, and William Russell, Clerk of the Cheque, Woolwich. Captain Anson of the Squirrel, informs them that his men are ready to proceed to the Nore. They were put on board a lighter, which was bound for Chatham with stores. The Petty Officers and Foremast men were discharged to the Newark. The Lyon hoy arrived from Deptford after the men had left and so she was sent back. The men were sent on the lighter to prevent them getting ashore before the transport arrived. Is sending an account of the muster of the men on board the vessel.
