Desmond Patrick NOLAN: British. In Lisbon in 1941 NOLAN, a British-born Irishman, was in touch with the Abwehr. With German assistance he moved to Berlin where it seems the Abwehr plan was to send him to Ireland. In the event he was interned in Germany and later arrested by the Allies in France
