Franz OBERMANNS, alias Eriki NOKI, 'Alex' (German). A Red Army agent, in about September 1939, Obermanns was sent to reinforce the Rote Drei spy ring in Switzerland. By December 1939, having set up his transmitter, he had been arrested by the Swiss and was confined throughout the Second World War
