German Communist Espionage Almanac (Spitzel Almanach). In 1925 the German Communist Party published the Spitzel Almanach, described as a reference book for leading Party functionaries to 'lay bare the dangers to which the Party is continually threatened'.The original Almanach is missing. However translations of it include lists of 'spies, provocateurs and traitors' covering the years 1919-1925
