Anthony Cedric Sebastian STEANE, alias Samuel Jack TREVOR: British. He was an actor who moved to Germany in 1924 and served in the German Broadcasting Service during the Second World War.He was convicted at the Central Criminal Court in January 1947 of assisting the enemy and sentenced to 3 years' imprisonment. His defence insisted that he had acted under duress from the Gestapo and the sentence was quashed on appeal
