Donald Alexander FRASER-GRANT, alias Donald PALMER, Martin RYAN: before the Second World War he held Fascist sympathies and in 1939 he went to Germany. In June 1940 he began work for 'Bureau Concordia', broadcasting German propaganda, and subsequently worked for the propaganda services, 'Radio Caledonia' and 'The New British Broadcasting Station', until April 1945. Brought to trial in 1947 he pleaded guilty to acts likely to assist the enemy and was sentenced to 6 months' imprisonment |
