Arthur CHAPPLE, alias LANE: an employee of NAAFI, he was taken prisoner in 1940 in France. He was a contributor to 'The Camp', a publication promoted by the German authorities and broadcast on the German propaganda channel, 'Radio National'. He was sentenced in 1946 by court-martial to 15 years' imprisonment, which was later reduced to 10 years
