A piece of land in Lambley bounded on the east by the Town Street of Lambley, on the south by land belonging to Samuel Smith, on the west by land belonging to Samuel Plumb, and on the north by the High Road to Woodborough; a total of 554 square yards, currently unoccupied. It adds that all of the land is freehold, not subject to quit rent. It was sold to the parish officers by the Lord of the Manor of Lambley, and no existing Trusts affect the Land. The land is estimated to be of the value of fifty pounds and the house and blacksmiths shop twenty pounds, and they yield an annual Rent of seven shillings. The parish officers intend to use the proceeds of the sale to pay off a debt of seventy pounds and interest 'borrowed many years ago by the Parish officers of Lambley to pay the Lord of the Manor for the purchase of the poors' houses which are to remain unsold' The form is dated 15 June 1837. It is signed by Thomas Tomlinson, Churchwarden, William Collishe, Overseer, Edward Hoffen, Overseer, David Plumb, Samuel Smith, Charles Bridges, William Cooper, Noah Wood and John Grears, inhabitants of Lambley and Thomas Walker, Guardian.
