Description:
Content: Folios 334-335. Letter from Uvedale Corbett junior, District Auditor, [Llanfyllin Poor Law Union], to the Poor Law Board, acknowledging its letter number 36035/1855 of 8 October 1855 and the enclosed copy appeal by the officers of Llangyniew against his disallowance of £43 1s 4d at the audit for the half year ended Lady Day 1855. The question of remitting or confirming the disallowance remains for the Board to decide. Annotations: supposition that the disallowance may be remitted with the usual letter of caution. Instruction to issue an order and write accordingly. Paper Number: 36973/1855. Poor Law Union Number 621. Counties: Montgomeryshire.
