Description:

Folios 708-709. Letter from Samuel Sparrow of South Lambeth [Surrey] asking Evan Nepean [under-secretary] for confirmation that his appointment as 'one of His Majesty's Counsel for Cape Breton' [Nova Scotia] should exempt him from parochial and militia duties when in England.
