Content: Folios 306-307. Letter from Thomas Day, Clerk to the Guardians of the Bromsgrove Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission. At a meeting it was moved by Henry Hickman and seconded by the Lord Aston that on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays each week paupers should be allowed a half a pound of potatoes for dinner in addition to soup. Enclosed is a diet sheet. Annotated: should be sanctioned. Amended diet J Jones. Issue order. Paper number: 457/C/1838. Poor Law Union number 526.
