This series mainly consists of receivers' and ministers' accounts of crown lands in England and Wales prepared by the auditors of the Court of Augmentations before 1554, and by the Auditors of the Land Revenue thereafter.
There are also, however, some earlier receivers' accounts dating from the fourteenth century. Also found are accounts of the receivers and ministers of the jointures of the queens consort (Anne of Denmark, Henrietta Maria and Catherine of Braganza) as well as files of vouchers and subsidiary documents.
