Administrative / biographical background:

Mrs Thredgold is the daughter of Albert Bracegirdle (senior) (see Tape no.109) and Amy Wright, and sister to Albert Bracegirdle (junior). She lived at their cottage at 4, Halman Lane, Heyhead until 1939 when she married and moved to Liverpool. She returned to the Wythenshawe area after the war and runs a cycle shop with her family on Hollyhedge Road, Wythenshawe. She has two children, Lynton and Linda. She is related to Ernest and Frances Wright on her mother's side (see Tape number 1056, deposit number 1615) and to Joe and Alice Bracegirdle on her father's side,(see Tape number 1055,deposit number 1627)
