For No 15 Craven Street. Executors of Richard Adey for Joseph Hemming, the purchaser in 1819. Goes back to 1766 when Humphrey Sturt leased to John Calvert land in Hoxton Fields at the back of Charles Square and Jenkinson Gardens of 5a 3r. In 1786 Calvert sold land to James Craven [which became site of Craven St]. In 1793 William Manypenny leases 12-15 Craven St to John Player, who in 1805 leases No 15 to Richard Adey. (1) Also abstract of title of Joseph Hemmings for 3-5, 8 & 16 Craven Street from 1806 dated 1827, (2); further abstract of title 1766-99 for Craven Street (3) and draft conveyance from Joseph Hemmings to George Briant of Myrtle St Hoxton of 3-5 & 8 Craven Street, 3 January 1827
