Robert de Crendon, knight, and Margery his wife; and Sir John de Segrave, son and heir of Sir Nicholas de Segrave. Sun. after St. Hilary, 27 Edw. I Robert and Margery have granted to John his villeins Robert le Rede and Hugh atte Stompe and all his other villeins in the vill of la Penne, with their suit and their issue, messuages, lands and holdings; further, 22s. 3d. annual rent, viz. from the priory of Merlawe 5s., John de la Penne 7d., Robert de Bovendon 8s. 6d., Reginald de Halton 6d., Roger le Wodeward 6s. 8d., Samson atte Brok 12d., from the lands and holdings which they held of him in the vill of la Penne.
