Containing notes, printed sale particulars, valuations, newspaper cuttings etc. re Ditchingham Hall estate. Note in front of volume in Carr's hand reads 'This volume contains a history of the Ditchingham Estate from the conclusion of the purchase in October 1886 to the end of December 1903 - a period of over 17 years - I did not enter into possession of the Hall until April 1890." The volume includes printed sale particular for 1885 with photograph of Hall from across lake and with printed map of Ditchingham Hall estate; printed 6" to 1 mile O.S. map of Hedenham and Ditchingham areas 1884; printed sale particular for grazing marshes at Burgh St Peter 13th June 1873 with map cut up into pieces; printed plan of marsh at Burgh St Peter sold in 1894; printed plan (with MS notes in Carr's hand) of 'Silk Mills' Ditchingham offeredf for sale 12th July 1894; water colour of trees by Mary Carr inscribed 'Effects of lightning on oak in Park struck June 25th 1900. taken about a fortnight afterwards WC'; two sketch plans of repairs to weir in Ditchingham Lake; MS estate valuations etc
