Sam. S. lent Chas. E. £1,000, repayable by bond of £2,000.

 

Anne Basset of Haldon House, Devon, died 1760, appointing cousin Thos. Hawkins of Trewithen, esq., and rev. Thos. Carlyon of St. Just-in-Roseland, as trustees and exors., estates being left to them in trust; legatees including Chas. E., her cousin.

 

Chas. E. agrees to assign to Sam. S. all his share in Anne B.'s estate in order to pay off his debt.
