In 1581 conveyed by Thomas Church to Vincent Wraith and wife Margaret and in 1631 by Richard Tailor, Thomas Harwood and Elizabeth his wife to Richard Wraith. Wraith or Wray - Smith - Lombe - de Monte, Walford and Grant - Church. In 1789 the malthouse, described as S. of the "Ship" inn, sold by William Church to John Playford. Inc.
