Description:

The church of St Ethelburga was originally built as a daughter church of St Leonards, St Leonard, and named St Saviours. The first church on the site was a temporary iron church and services began in 1895. In 1929 it became a separate ecclesiastical parish formed out of St Leonards and a new permanent church was built on the site. It was consecrated in December 1929 and renamed St Ethelburga.
