The works of the Sunbury Gas Consumers Co. was built in 1861 on Cemetery Lane. Its area of supply covered Sunbury, Littleton, Hanworth, Feltham and a portion of Ashford. It was taken over by Brentford Gas Co., in 1915, which converted the site to a holder station. |
