Volume containing a manuscript history of the Leigh family dedicated to J.H. Leigh and written by Mary Leigh, 1788. Continued to 1794, with note on her by her widowed husband. The remainder of the volume has been used as a scrapbook, including 21 letters of Mary Leigh (d. 1806) to Joseph Hill, 1790-92; a list of pictures belonging to Charles Leigh at Leighton Buzzard; receipt from Charles Leigh for his share of his late father's estate, 1712; two letters from Charles Leigh to his brother, Edward Lord Leigh
