William Canynges, merchant of Bristol, and Thomas Hallkesock. 24 Oct. 8 Edw. IV

 

William has founded a perpetual chantry at the altar of St. George in the parish church of St. Mary Redcliffe, Bristol, and has appointed Thomas chaplain of the same.

 

Witnesses: Philip Mede, mayor, Robert Straunge, sheriff, John Godard and John Nancotham, bailiffs, John Shipward the elder, William Coder, William Spenser, Henry Chestre, Robert Bolton, Thomas Oseney.
