Cuttings, notes, draft pedigrees and some original documents collected by Catherine C Rouse Boughton, a sister of Sir W St A Rouse Boughton, mainly about the Rouse and Boughton lines of the family, but touching also on the Wredenhall/Pearce line. Considerable amounts of material concerning Rouse Lench, including letters about a new memorial window for the family mortuary chapel there.

C C Rouse Boughton lived with her sister Frances at Larden Hall near Much Wenlock from 1856 until 1895, when they moved to Abbey House, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury. She died in 1912, having passed the contents of these bundles to her brother at Downton Hall.
